Fashion Academy Rebrand
This was a rebranding project for Fashion Academy who's business is training stylists and image consultants. The existing branding was considered outdated and unclear, and the colour scheme uninspiring. In the new design I strived to create a timeless, elegant design that would present the company as a training institute.
The result is a strong, modern brand which is reliant on a mix of black and white photographic imagery and bright secondary colours in the logotype and colour palette. The shape is inspired by clothing tags, face shapes and a top-down view of a building, creating a 'sense of place' for the company and its clients.
To add clarification when necessary, for example on vehicle signage a strapline was created : "training tomorrow's stylists and image consultants"
